Challenge
High pressure actuation solution with remote Partial Stroke Test capability for an oil plant with 120.000 barrels production capacity.
Solution
GPO actuators in full SS316 with 3,000 to 15,000 Nm design torque. GPO(Gas-Over-Oil) operates 20”x300, 14”x600 and 6”x 900 valves, with an external Nitrogen rack as a power supply.
- The full SS316 solution improves corrosion protection. The power tank in Carbon Steel is coated with high protection level painting.
- A tailor-made control system configuration performs Partial Stroke Test operation from the control room.
- No pressure reducer in the control system.
- Actuator with SIL3 level.
