Challenge
Operate an 18” API 10,000 HIPPS gate valve.
Solution
HLDAS#9850k double cylinder spring return linear hydraulic actuator with 4309716 N BTO for the operation of linear valves requiring high thrust in the first phase of valve opening and lower during the complete stroke.
- The double cylinder reduces the oil displacement of the actuator, thus offering cost saving with smaller accumulators for the emergency strokes.
- External rack with control cabinet hydraulic accumulator and nitrogen bottle for emergency strokes in case of main power loss.
